5 days ago, I saw the Lilo & Stitch remake film in theatres. I know this brings me nostalgia, as I saw the original animated film back in 2002 (as, if you guys are younger than me, I'm older than the target demographic for this film, and I know I was born in 1999, and I was 3 years old when I first saw this). Gantu is missing in the live-action remake, and he has been replaced by Dr. Jumba Jookiba for his role, and Tūtū and Mrs. Kekoa (played by Tia Carrere, who voiced Nani in the original animated film franchise) are new characters in the live-action remake.
